U.S. Navy Logistics Specialist 1st Class Javiel Gonzalez works with St. Kitts Nevis Coast Guard Ordinary Seaman Marshall Desmond to contact a partner nation ship that needed assistance with their Blue Force tracker June 6 at the St. Kitts Nevis Coast Guard Base during Tradewinds 2015. Blue Force trackers were used for real-time geotracking of maritime ships to coordinate different events at the exercise. Tradewinds 2015 is a joint, combined exercise conducted in conjunction with partner nations to enhance the collective abilities of defense forces and constabularies to counter transnational organized crime and to conduct humanitarian/disaster relief operations.
