Food service Soldiers from the 8th Theater Sustainment Command Dining Facility who accepted the Philip A. Connelly Award for Excellence in Food Service pose with the 45th Sustainment Brigade Commander, Col. Gregory Boyd, and Command Sgt. Maj. Mark Morgan, 45th Special Troops Battalion, May 28 at the 8th TSC Dining Facility on Schofield Barracks. The Army-wide competition is a yearlong event that grades dining facilities and their personnel on many different tasks ranging from how food is cooked to monthly budgeting and management of the facility. 8th TSC placed second in the competition.
