U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Preston Kopcsik, diver, confirms his initial direction of movement before taking Seychelles Coast Guard divers on a 2 Alpha training dive as part of operation Island Response '09. Island Response '09 is a bilateral exercise between the U.S. Navy and the Seychelles Coast Guard to strengthen military relations and tactical proficiency in anti-terrorism force protection diving operations, underwater search techniques, dive medicine fundamentals, underwater salvage fundamentals, diving supervisor training and diving equipment maintenance procedures.
