Island Response '09 is a bilateral exercise between the U.S. Navy and the Seychelles Coast Guard to strengthen military relations and tactical proficiency in anti-terrorism force protection diving operations, underwater search techniques, dive medicine fundamentals, underwater salvage fundamentals, diving supervisor training and diving equipment maintenance procedures.
