Petty Officer 3rd Class Matthew Miller, assigned to the aircraft carrier USS George Washington, interacts with local Philippine children during a community service project hosted by the U. S. Agency for International Development and the Philippine Daily Inquirer newspaper. George Washington is deployed in the western Pacific Ocean, and her port visit to Manila is the first by a U.S. aircraft carrier in more than 13 years.
