    Petty Officer 3rd Class Nicholas Wetta, a gunner's mate stationed aboard U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Bertholf, observes a crewmember firing one of the ship's .50 caliber gun during a gunnery exercise, Aug. 10. Crewmembers fired both the M-240 light machine gun and the .50 caliber machine gun as part of the ship's recurring training and qualification process.
