150512-M-YH418-001: STRAIT OF BAB AL MANDEB (May 12, 2015) - Lance Cpl. Ryan Recanati, an anti-tank missileman with Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, stands security as part of a small caliber action team aboard the mine countermeasures ship USS Sentry (MCM-3) while transiting through the Strait of Bab-al-Mandeb, May 12, 2015. A contingent of 24th MEU Marines augmented the ship’s security while transiting the heavily-trafficked strait. The 24th MEU is embarked on the ships of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group and is deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet Area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
