(May 9, 2015) - Carlos Buitron (retired, U.S. Marine Corps) and Maggy Cervantes of Alvin, Texas, view “Range 10,” a photo currently on display at the National Museum of the Marine Corps (NMMC) as part of an exhibit dedicated to the 2014 Department of Defense Communicators of Excellence Awards (COE). “Range 10” earned Callahan an honorable mention in the awards that annually recognize the military’s best photographers, videographers and journalists. This exhibit represents the first time a national museum has dedicated an exhibit to the COE Award winners, and will be on display throughout May in honor of Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day and Military Appreciation Month.
