Marines with 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, prepare the Dive Propulsion Device for use after helo-casting it from a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter, off the coast of Camp Lejeune, N.C., during a helo-casting exercise, July 23. Helo-casting provides Marines with a stealthy insertion method that enables them to enter any body of water deep enough and is a required skill for all reconnaissance Marines.
