Marines from 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, mount their Zodiac boats and head out to sea from Onslow Beach on Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 23, where they will monitor other Marines as they jump from helicopters into the ocean and then swim the 500 meters to shore, as part of a helo-casting exercise. Helo-casting provides Marines with a stealthy waterborne insertion method and is a required skill for all reconnaissance Marines.
