Sgt. Michael Hooks, a horizontal construction engineer with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 130th Engineer Brigade, 8th Theater Sustainment Command, is presented an Army Commendation Medal by Maj. Gen. Edward F. Dorman III and Command Sgt. Maj. Charles M. Tobin, 8th TSC commander and command sergeant major, May 8 at the 45th Sustainment Brigade, 8th TSC Dining Facility here. Hooks won the 8th TSC’s 2015 Best Warrior Competition, becoming the unit’s Noncommissioned Officer of the Year to represent the 8th TSC in the U.S. Army Pacific’s Best Warrior Competition taking place in June.
