Misercola, a sniper with Alpha Company, 2nd Battalion, 108th Infantry Regiment and a native of Syracuse, Ny. teaches Intisar Abbod, a female Iraqi National Guard recruit, how to use the weapon sights on an AK-47 machine gun. 2nd Lt. Abbas Ali Jawad of the 203rd ING Battalion translates for Misercola on Sept. 5 at FOB O Ryan. Abbod is one of five female ING soldiers that Alpha Company has trained since April.
