(April 24,2015) Sailors assigned to amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), guided-missile destroyer USS James E. Williams (DDG 95), and Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG 67) hammer nails during a building project for Habitat for Humanity as part of a community relations project between the ship and the community for Navy Week New Orleans. The amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) is participating in Navy Week New Orleans 2015, a weeklong celebration and collaboration with the community of New Orleans with ships representing the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, as well as the Royal Navy and Royal Canadian Navy.
