Ward, the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard's (LHD 6) commanding officer, from Binghamton, N.Y., addresses the crew during Bonhomme Richard's change of command ceremony in the hangar bay. During the ceremony, Ward assumed the position of Bonhomme Richard's commanding officer from Bonhomme Richard's Relieved Commanding Officer Capt. Joey Tynch, from Edenton, N.C..
