Most C-130's have the name of the base they are from written on the tail of the aircraft; this particular C-130 Hercules is from the 19th Airlift Wing Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. The aircraft is capable of operating from rough, dirt strips and is the prime transport for air dropping troops and equipment into hostile areas.
