    The Coast Guard’s Tuition Assistance staff, part of the Coast Guard Institute, is pictured Aug. 19, 2014. In 2014, this small team processed over $5.4 million in tuition assistance funds, supporting 3,539 Coast Guard members in furthering their education by helping to pay for 8,253 college courses.
