U.S. Army Capt. Yvette Breden, from Albuquerque, Texas, a veterinarian with the 994th Medical Detachment Veterinary Services out of Round Rock, Texas, aids Dr. Bolanos with the Salvadoran Ministry of Agriculture in taking blood samples from cattle during this year's Beyond the Horizon here, April 14, 2015. The 994th MDVS is part of the BTH veterinary readiness training exercise providing de-wormer, vaccines, vitamins and diagnosis to livestock and pets of the Salvadoran citizens. Samples taken will be analyzed to determined what illnesses are prevalent among the local cattle populace for future treatment. BTH is a humanitarian and civic assistance exercise that lasts for several months and provides construction and medical assistance to the people of El Salvador.
