The 16th Sustainment Brigade’s transportation and fuel specialists refuel vehicles on March 23, 2015, day four of Dragoon Ride. The 16th Sustainment Brigade supports 2nd Cavalry Regiment by providing fuel, food and water, and cargo transfer during Dragoon Ride. “Dragoon Ride,” an operational movement in which 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment drove their vehicles as far as 1,100 miles, and through five NATO-allied countries, back to Rose Barracks, Vilseck, Germany. The movement was a capstone exercise for 3-2 Cav.’s rotation under Atlantic Resolve-North, where units under U.S. Army Europe train with allied nations from the Baltics and Poland. This mission exercises unit maintenance and leadership capabilities and demonstrates the freedom of movement that exists within NATO. (U.S. Army photo by 1st Lt.
