Kurush Morris, commanding officer of Ticonderoga class guided-missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67) speaks with his crew during a commemoration event for the Battle of Shiloh, for which the ship is named. The Battle of Shiloh took place April 6 and 7, 1862 and was one of the bloodiest battles of American history, but is also considered to have been a key strategic victory for Union forces during the Civil War.
