Iraqi national policemen are engulfed in a cloud of dust stirred up by the rotors of a U.S. Army CH-47 helicopter while waiting to board the aircraft during an Iraqi planned and led joint air assault operation at Forward Operating Base Hammer, Iraq, June 26. The Iraqi national police, Iraqi army and U.S. Soldiers of 5th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, search for weapons caches and insurgent activity during one of the largest air assault operations conducted in the Multi-National Division - Baghdad area since the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
