    150401-N-RU971-078 WATERS TO THE EAST OF THE KOREAN PENINSULA (April 1, 2015) - An AV-8B Harrier, assigned to Marine Attack Squadron (VMA) 231, departs from the flight deck of the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). U.S. Sailors and Marines from the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) are participating in the KMEP in the Republic of Korea (ROK) with the ROK marine corps and navy. The Bonhomme Richard ARG is comprised of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20), the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) and the embarked 31st MEU.
