    Sam Doss, a defense contractor who guided the Headquarters, 4th Infantry Division battlefield staff ride, describes the problems "dragon's teeth," the concrete obstacles pictured in the background, posed to Allied Forces attempting to cross the Westwall of Germany. The dragon's teeth, which stretched more than 390 miles north to south along Germany's western border, made it difficult for U.S. track and wheeled vehicles to penetrate Germany's border.
