An Apache attack helicopter from the 1st Battalion, 4th Aviation Regiment, Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, shots 30mm rounds down range during a range on the outskirsts of Baghdad earlier this year. Apache helicopter pilots are one of the reasons for the improved security conditions in Iraq with their 24/7 aerial surveillance and weapons capability.
