150318-N-RU971-073 EAST CHINA SEA (March 18, 2015) - Machinist's Mate 3rd Class Keith Rouse, from Chicago, closes off the number-one boiler while Chief Machinist's Mate Josephine Tauoa indicates boiler pressure during an engineering drill in forward main machinery room aboard the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, along with the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is currently conducting a certification exercise (CERTEX).
