Several individuals dressed in matching red long-sleeve shirts are handling a large American flag on what appears to be the deck of a naval vessel. The foreground figure wearing glasses is holding and managing the flag near a flagpole with a rope/halyard visible. The setting appears to be at sea based on the visible ship railing and hazy horizon.

Chief Petty Officer (AW/SW) Mark Seals, aviation ordnanceman, raises a flag to honor John Finn, the oldest medal of honor recipient alive today, while Chief Petty Officer (AW/SW) Victor Almodovar, aviation ordnanceman, looks on aboard the Nimitz Class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. The same flag will be hoisted on the mast of every United States carrier before it is given to Finn on his 100th birthday, July 23. The Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group is underway for a regularly scheduled deployment in support of the ongoing rotation of forward-deployed forces to support maritime security operations and operate in international waters across the globe.
