    SURFLANT training highlights the importance of bystander intervention

    NORFOLK (March 10, 2015) - Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Ellen Hilkowski and Yeoman 3rd Class Andrew Jones play out an indirect approach to bystander intervention at the Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic (SURFLANT) junior level training session. The SURFLANT Bystander Intervention to the Fleet training course covered various subjects, such as hazing, fraternization, sexual assault and harassment, by showcasing videos, role playing different scenarios and discussing personal opinions.
