NORFOLK (March 10, 2015) - Quartermaster 1st Class Vera Smith, Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic (SURFLANT) trainer, teaches Sailors about bystander intervention. The SURFLANT Bystander Intervention to the fleet training covered various subjects such as hazing, fraternization, sexual assault and harassment, by showcasing videos, role playing different scenarios and discussing personal opinions.
