150315-N-NT265-926 EAST CHINA SEA (March 15, 2015) – Sailors, assigned to the Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48), conduct fire training on the flight deck. Ashland is part of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, along with the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is currently conducting a certification exercise (CERTEX).
