Veteran Affairs Commissioner Loree Sutton, MD is a retired Brigadier General from the United States Army. Sutton's culminating military assignment involved serving as the founding Director of the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brian Injury (DCoE) from 2007 to 2010. Before (DCoE) Sutton commanded the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood. She was responsible for over 100,000 service and family members. (New York Air National Guard/ Master Sgt.
