U.S. Army Reserve Pvt. Kevin Collins, E Company, 3-60 Infantry, knocks down targets from the prone supported position during week four of his basic combat training at Fort Jackson, S.C. Collins, who enlisted as a human resources specialist, is one of many new recruits to the Army and Army Reserve who is being trained by a group of Army Reserve drill sergeants in what is known as the Echo Mission. Every year, a team of Army Reserve drill sergeants from the 108th Training Command (IET) takes over a basic combat training company at one of the Army's four initial entry training posts and provides quality instruction and mentorship alongside their active duty counterparts.
