Hospitalman Nathaniel Garrett watches Petty Officer 2nd Class Shauna Poole prepare a syringe to draw his blood draw. Garrett and Poole are both hospital corpsmen assigned to the Navy Operational Support Center or NOSC San Antonio, helping Navy Reservists fulfill their obligations during drill weekends and prepare them for active duty. The Navy Reserve is celebrating their 100th anniversary this year. NOSC San Antonio is located on Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston.
