150207-N-IY633-063 SPLIT, Croatia (Feb. 7, 2015) – Standing NATO Maritime Group 2 (SNMG2) Petty Officer 2nd Class Botrugno Giuseppe, left, and Petty Officer 3rd Class Giannachi Salvatore paint a wall at Juraj Bonaci, a home for disabled children. Botrugno and Salvatore are assigned to SNMG2 Italian ship ITS Aliseo (F 574) and volunteered their time during the group’s port visit to assist with basic chores at the home. SNMG2 is a multinational integrated force that projects a constant and visible reminder of the Alliance’s solidarity and cohesion afloat and provides the Alliance with a continuous maritime capability to perform a wide range of tasks, including exercises and real-world operations in periods of crisis and conflict.
