Two naval officers in white dress uniforms are shaking hands while jointly holding a certificate/letter and what appears to be a medal or coin. The officer on the left displays higher rank insignia (admiral-level shoulder boards) and multiple service ribbons, while the officer on the right appears to be a captain-rank officer. The ceremony is taking place in front of a large ornate oil painting depicting a naval warship at sea.

150210-N-WL435-145 CANBERRA, Australia (Feb. 10, 2015) Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Adm. Jonathan Greenert presents Royal Australian Navy Capt. Harry Lok with a Meritorious Unit Citation on behalf of the Secretary of Navy for the exceptional work he and his fellow Sailors produced from January 1988 to December 1989 at a jointly manned communication station in Exmouth, Western Australia that enabled communications capabilities for U.S. and Australian submarines operating in the Indian Ocean, Southwest Pacific and Arabian Gulf. The citation stated among other admirable traits, that the readiness and dedication of Lok and the Sailors working at Naval Communication Station Harold E. Holt represented coalition operations at their best and were a reflection of strong ties between the United States and Australia. (U.S. Navy photo by Chief Mass Communication Specialist Peter D.
