U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Joel Miller, front, from Goshen, Ind., and U.S. Air Force Matthew Rogers, from Miami, both 352nd Special Operations Maintenance Squadron electrical environmental systems technicians, repair wiring on a CV-22B Osprey Jan. 29, 2015, on RAF Mildenhall, England. The CV-22 is a tiltrotor aircraft that combines the vertical takeoff, hover and vertical landing qualities of a helicopter with the long-range, fuel efficiency and speed characteristics of a turboprop aircraft. Its mission is to conduct long-range infiltration, exfiltration and resupply missions for special operations forces. Vital to the special operations mission, maintainers are prepared to fix the aircraft when necessary ensuring the Ospreys are ready to fly at all times.
