    U.S. Army Pacific Commanding General, Gen. Vincent K. Brooks presents an award to a People’s Liberation Army (PLA) soldier for his achievements during the during the 2015 Pacific Resilience Disaster Management Exchange (DME) on Jan. 18 at Macun Barrack in Haikou, Hainan Province, People’s Republic of China. Multiple U.S. service members and PLA Soldiers were recognized for their exemplary contributions during the event which was designed to maximize hands-on, side-by-side interaction with the PLA on Humanitarian Assistance (HA) and Disaster Relief (DR) operations and enable sharing of lessons learned.
