U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers with the 474th Engineer Platoon (Route Clearance) with a detachment from 388th Engineer Company, served as opposing forces for 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment during Operation Kick-Punch Jan. 17 to 23. The engineer Soldiers were also taught various skills by the Rangers. Operation Kick-Punch was a multi-component extended combat training focusing on fixed wing airfield seizure.
