A student from Westbury High School in Long Island, N.Y., enrolled in the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet program tries on fire-fighting gear with the help of Petty Officer 2nd Class Lucas Brundage, damage controlman, while en route to Fleet Week New York City 2009. This week-long event provides an opportunity for the citizens of New York and the surrounding tri-state area to meet Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, as well as see first-hand the latest capabilities of today's maritime services.
