The image shows what appears to be a care or community outreach visit at an indoor facility, likely a senior care center or community center in an East Asian setting. A younger man in a striped polo shirt is leaning down to interact with elderly seated individuals, while staff and other visitors observe nearby. One elderly person is raising their index finger, possibly making a point or responding to conversation.

Capt. Jason E. Misner shakes hands with a resident Jan. 16 at Hikarigaoka Nursing Home in Okinawa, Japan. Marines, sailors and military family members with 7th Communication Battalion joined with staff and residents of the nursing home to participate in a New Year mochitsuki ceremony. The ceremony is a Japanese tradition where they pound rice with a wooden mallet to make mochi, a Japanese gel-like rice cake served as dessert. The mochi is believed to bring good health and prosperity for the New Year. Misner, from Tucson, Arizona, is the company commander with Headquarters Company, 7th Comm. Bn., III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Drew Tech/Released)
