Sailors aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) perform a foreign object damage walk down on the ship’s flight deck. Dewey is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations, and theater security cooperation efforts such as Coalition Task Force (CTF) 150 in the region. CTF-150 is a multinational task force that conducts counter terrorism and maritime security operations in the Gulf of Aden, Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and the Red Sea.
