Marines from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 323, Marine Aircraft Group 11, ensure an F/A-18C Hornet is ready for flight on Jan. 7 during exercise Lava Viper 15.1-2 at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. Forward observers will later call on the jets for supporting fire during the exercise.
