The 42nd Mission Support Group (MSG) held a re-designation and assumption of command ceremony for the 42nd Operations Support Squadron (OSS) Oct. 31, 2014, at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala. Officiating the ceremony was Col Michael Borgert, commander, 42nd MSG, and assuming command of the newly designated squadron was Maj James Hudnell. The guidon bearer for the event was Master Sgt.
