The Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Walter S. Diehl (T-AO 193) conducts a connected replenishment (CONREP) with guided missile destroyer USS Milius (DDG 69) as dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45) pulls alongside. Comstock is part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
