Soldiers of Division Signal Company, Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), deployed in support of the U.S. Agency for International Development – led mission, Operation United Assistance, ended Christmas day by playing a game of unit flag football at the Barclay Training Center, Monrovia, Liberia, Dec. 25, 2014. Despite being away from home this holiday season, these troops were provided with a traditional Christmas dinner and several other activities to enjoy throughout the day. United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to USAID-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
