Service members along with family and friends applaud performers during the Camp Hansen Christmas Concert Dec. 12 at the Grace Chapel on Camp Hansen. “There are a lot of single Marines here without their families for the holidays,” said Ginny Black, from Nashua, New Hampshire, and the spouse of a service member. “We want to provide something for them that gets them excited for Christmas.” The concert consisted of the bell choir from Amelia Earhart Intermediate School, Kadena Middle School’s band and show choir, and a reading of “Twas the Night Before Christmas.” (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
