Lt. Col. Tim Duffy, 4th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron flight doctor, performs acupuncture, April 15. Increasingly, acupuncture is complementing standard medical treatment in the Air Force. For example, doctors may combine acupuncture with medication to control surgery related pain in their patients. A native of Boise, Idaho, Duffy is deployed here from Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
