Soldiers of the 3rd Human Resources Sustainment Center based out of Jackson, Miss., held a transfer of authority ceremony with the 14th HRSC based out of Fort Bragg, N.C., Nov. 29, at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. The ceremony marked the end of the 3rd HRSC's nine month deployment to Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Brig. Gen. Daniel Mitchell, deputy commanding general of the 1st Sustainment Command (Theater) praised the 3rd HRSC's accomplishments including providing oversight of more than seven million pounds of mail, tracking the movement of more than 200,000 Soldiers and processing more than 2,000 casualty reports.
