Students in the Ebola Treatment Unit Course led by the U.S. military, Joint Forces Command – United Assistance, diagnose a potential patient for symptoms of the Ebola virus during scenario training at the National Police Training Academy in Monrovia, Liberia, Nov. 20, 2014. The instructors are training and preparing the healthcare workers to work in ETUs in some of the most remote locations throughout areas affected by the Ebola outbreak. Operation United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
