Arrington Dixon, chairperson for the Anacostia Coordinating Council, speaks at veterans remembrance ceremony held on Saint Elizabeth's East Campus cemetery Nov. 12 to pay tribute to the veterans buried there. Dixon spoke to the audience about the history of the cemetery and the importance of honoring those fallen heroes. He also thanked the United States Coast Guard for supporting the event, and looks forward to future community engagements with Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling.
