Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) cadets from Anacostia High school stood at attention during a veterans remembrance ceremony at Saint Elizabeth's East Campus cemetery Nov. 12. Their instructor, retired Army Lt. Col. Rodney Connor, brought them to the ceremony for the experience and the exposure to military culture and history. Cadets were able to observe as the Coast Guard Honor Guard presented and retired the nation's colors, and then speak with some of the Coast Guardsmen after the ceremony.
