Troops from the Canadian Armed Forces and Royal Netherlands Navy evacuate mock non-combatants from an unstable region during a humanitarian mission scenario as part of Exercise Bold Alligator 2014 at a U.S. Marine Expeditionary Forces compound near Fort Jackson, S.C. Bold Alligator is intended to improve Navy and Marine Corps amphibious core competencies. Working with coalition, NATO, allied and partner nations is a necessary investment in the current and future readiness of our forces. The exercise takes place Oct. 29-Nov. 10, 2014, afloat and ashore along the Eastern Seaboard. #BoldAlligator14 (U.S. Navy photo courtesy of Canadian Forces Cpl. Brian D. Watters/Released)
